A brief introduction to Norpost
|

Norpost AS has become the largest private nationwide direct mail company in Norway since its establishment in 1984. Our focuses on customer service, high quality and a low cost base have been the driving forces behind our rapid expansion in the direct mail industry. Norpost operates 17 local offices, with the main office located in the capital, Oslo. The logistics terminal is also located in Oslo.
Norpost's own distribution network covers approximately 1.1 million private households (out of a total of 1.6 million). Our network includes all well-populated regions within the country. In the event that customers require 100% cover, Norpost is able to cover the remaining sparsely populated regions via an agreement with the Norwegian Royal Post and other partners.
Distribution takes place every Tuesday evening when approximately 3000 part time delivery people, from the ages of 13 to 20, visit every post-box in our distribution area.
Norpost offers distribution of unaddressed mail, both commercial and public. We also provide a geographical and demographical segmentation service for customers employing our expertise in digital geographical information systems (GIS).
Norpost's total turnover in 2005 was NOK 125 million.
Norpost is an active member of NORDMA (Norwegian Direct Mail Association) and ELMA (European Letterbox Marketing Association).
